The city’s spectacular Christmas Parade has officially been crowned the best council-organised outdoor event in Britain. This prestigious “Event of the Year” title was awarded to Swansea Council at the National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) Awards 2025, held this week in Bath.
The accolade comes just days after tens of thousands of spectators lined the city centre streets last Sunday to witness the festive magic firsthand. This win marks the parade’s second national recognition this year, following its success as a finalist at the Visit Wales Tourism Awards.
